Trading Rules

  • Stop-Loss Trigger: Each pick carries a stop-loss from the AI report when provided, capped at 10% below entry. If no stop-loss is specified, a default 6% stop-loss applies. The calculated stop-loss exits only when the pick is also underperforming SPY by at least 3.5 percentage points. A 15% hard stop can trigger without SPY confirmation. Triggers are adjusted for any stock splits.
  • Execution Price: When triggered during market hours, the exit is executed at an additional 0.5% beyond the current drop to account for slippage.
  • Market Hours Only: Stop-loss execution occurs only during market hours. If the threshold is met while the market is closed, execution is postponed until market hours.
  • Finalization: Executed stop-losses are marked as completed and removed from active tracking. These appear with an “Exit Type: Stop-Loss” indicator.
  • Live Strategy: Picks created on or after 2026-06-27 00:00 UTC use the 5W / 50 Slots rule: a 5-week hold window and a 50-slot portfolio target.
  • Standard Finalization: Picks are otherwise finalized after their assigned tracking window using the latest available market price.
Historical strategy before 2026-06-27 00:00 UTC
  • Legacy Rule: Picks created before the cutoff use the 1W / 15 Slots rule: a 7-day tracking window and a 15-slot portfolio target unless they are transition holdings.
  • Strategy Transition: Legacy positions are not trimmed immediately. Once a legacy lot reaches its original 7-day sell date, oversized positions may be trimmed toward the current 1/50 slot target with a 5% tolerance.
  • Residual Holdings: After the migration trim, any remaining position stays active and unfinalized until the current strategy exit window instead of being fully sold by the legacy path.
  • Metrics: Strategy windows control finalization timing. The performance page win-rate chart counts public active and finalized picks in the selected lookback window based on selection date.

Performance Metrics

  • Win Rate: The performance page counts both active and finalized public picks. A pick is a win when its current or final profit is greater than 0%.
  • Final Verdict: After the assigned tracking window (validated at a market‑hours update), a pick is finalized with its final price and outcome (Success / Failure / Neutral). Finalized picks stop updating and contribute their locked final result to performance metrics.
  • Baseline: The win-rate chart uses a 50% horizontal baseline for comparison.
  • Early Stop-Loss: Picks finalized early by stop-loss remain part of win-rate history for their selected lookback window using the realized final result.
  • Pending: Picks with insufficient or stale price updates are counted as pending and excluded from rate denominators to keep metrics accurate.
